Douglas McGeorge is a leading, UK plastic surgeon, with 30 years experience in teaching and performing plastic and aesthetic surgery

His practice is devoted to rejuvenating and enhancing natural beauty, using state-of-the-art procedures, to achieve natural results that make you look better and feel more confident about your appearance. Whilst offering the full range of aesthetic procedures, he continues his personal interest in all aspects of breast surgery and combines this with a large practice in facial rejuvenation surgery.

He has been a contributor to the medical literature, an invited speaker at national and international meetings and is closely involved in the training and standards of cosmetic plastic surgery as a longstanding Council Member of the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons. He was President of the Association between 2006-8.

Outside of his surgical practice, he is the co-founder and Medical Director of Science of Skin Ltd; a company devoted to producing topical treatments for common skin problems, based on scientific research. His first product, Solution for Scars is the only scar treatment backed up by level 1 science. It has been shown in double blinded trials to significantly reduce scar thickness and redness, along with increasing pliability and hydration..

A contributor to the Princes Trust over many years, he is involved in fund raising events for the Trust. He supports the Centre for Social Justice and was privileged to have been a Trustee of the Scar Free Foundation for some 14 years. In June 2018 he was awarded the MBE for his charitable services.
